Over 40 years ago, my mother C. Lakshmi began preparing traditional South Indian snacks and podis-Murukku, Thattai, Ribbon Pakoda, Adhirasam, Mysore Pak, Dhal Podi, Curry Leaves Podi, and more-while working as a typist in a small private company. With love as her main ingredient, she laid the foundation for what would one day become a global food journey.
